Jesús Martín Sommers López was a Mexican professional baseball infielder and manager. Sommers played 27 seasons in the Mexican Baseball League (LMB), debuting in 1970, and still holds the league's career record for hits with 3,004, earning him the nickname "Rey del Hit". He also played 25 seasons in the Mexican Pacific League (LMP).
